Decor: Apartment Inspiration

As I get ready for the move to Toronto I've been gathering some inspiration for decorating my apartment. I love this part of moving! Decorating and organizing a space are highly enjoyable for me and I can’t wait to get started on it.
I could post my dream scenario and how I would go about decorating that, but at this moment in time that is not the case. Here are a few simple ideas that I plan on taking inspiration from.
I love the idea of simple art, especially something that inspires travel.

I saw this picture this morning on The Coveteur and loved the simplicity of the small vases and the few flowers. Such an easy DYI!

I am obsessed with candles, (see here and here) so making a cute little tray full of them will definitely be on the list of things to do. It can warm up a room instantly and the smell lingers for hours.

Space is not going to be my friend this time around so I know I will be using every nook and cranny to organize my things. I love the idea here, with the silver mirrored tray and the flower and photograph to keep all those pretty products in place.

It may just end up being a small fur throw, but I adore the idea of cuddling up in a large fur blanket. How luxurious!

White roses and gold trim. It's all in the details.

You can count on finding a bookshelf somewhere in my new space. I am an avid coffee table book collector and they just look so darn perfect set up on a shelf. I like the idea of incorporating other found object on the shelf to give it a more homey feel.

An inspiration board is a must! It is so important for me to always be inspired. Whether it be a small detail on a dress, or the way a photograph was taken, I need a daily dose of something like that to take my energy to the next level.
