Beauty: Mexico Holiday

One more day and I will be off to Mexico to relax in the sun, enjoy the ocean and attend a wedding. Should be good, right? There was however a lot of prep work to getting to this day that included tanning, cleansing, and of course some shopping. I picked up a few new products today to try out while on the trip, and here's hoping I don't come home to be as red as a lobster (which usually happens to me while in the sun longer than 10 minutes). Here's hoping! Anyway, here is a little photo diary of what I plan on packing to look completely natural...

1. Bumble and Bumble Grooming Cream - Works great for before and after hair is dry. It really helps to just smooth everything out.
2. Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray - I have yet to try it but I've heard rave reviews. Supposedly it should add volume, texture and helps to create a matte finish. Sounds good to me!
3. Klorane Dry Shampoo - This is by far the best dry shampoo I've tried. It actually brings your hair back to life and adds some great volume. Seriously amazing.

4. Sephora Head to Toe Hydrator - It really is head to toe, from finishing your hair to using it as a lotion it works great. Lately I've been using it as my daily moisturizer and it's really improved things. No more dry spots :)
5. Evian Facial Spray - I've always heard great things about this product and was very happy to see it at Sephora for $15 in a double pack. (Go get some!! Such a great deal.) Anyway this is going to perfect post airplane, as well as setting makeup and refreshing after a few hours in the sun.
6. Korres After Sun Cooling Gel - The girls at Sephora are just so helpful. They know exactly what you need and where to find it. That is exactly what happened today when I told the sales girls that I was going to Mexico and I am guaranteed to burn... She suggested this cooling gel and raved about it's amazing moisturizing power and cool tingling that helps tone down the burn. Just what I need.
7. Clean Shower Fresh - A friend of mine showed me this line a while ago and I have been thinking about it ever since. Each fragrance is so light and simple yet so yummy and fresh. I picked up the mini roller today in hopes of not smelling like 70 SPF sunscreen my entire trip.

8. OPI Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil - Anyone who knows me well knows I have a nail polish addiction, so bringing a small mani & pedi kit for the trip was a no-brainer. I always start with this oil to clean up my nails and restore their shine.
9. Chanel Vernis in May - I love the innocence of this baby pink, perfect for spring and great as a subtle colour.
10. Chanel Vernis in Distraction - This one is currently on both my hands and feet. It's Malibu Barbie meets Summer 2012. I looove it.
11. Chanel Vernis in Rose Insolent - This one really pops. It's a very 'fun in the sun' sort of colour.
12. Sally Hansen Instant Strengthener - The perfect base and top coat. It dries fast and leaves your nails extra shiny.

13. Varies Chanel Eyeshadow Compacts - They really pair the perfect colours together.
14. MAC Blush - Great quality, and the perfect playful pink
15. MAC Lipglass - A nice peach to go with the beach vibe I will be going for.
16. Maybelline Define-A-Lash - I always get comments about my eyelashes and I gotta say, it's all the mascara. It works wonders.
17. MAC Studio Fix - I'll probably only be using a bit of this powder on the trip but I gotta say, it has been my go-to for the last four years, unfortunately I am still wearing one of the lighter tones...
18. Chanel Eyeliner in Emerald - The green is a great departure from my usual black liquid liner. Sometimes you need a bit of a change right?
19. Chanel Illusion D'ombrein in Emerveille - This is the perfect pre-eyeshadow cream. It's great to set other layers and amazing on it's own. I use it a bit as a highlighter too and it adds the perfect little shimmer.
20. Jack Black Lip Balm in Mint - This is actually a men's lip balm, which makes me love it even more. It's a great buy (only $8!)  and the perfect size to carry around.
21. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine - I love this lipstick, it's a great texture and looks more like a gloss when it's on. The colour is subtle enough yet that perfect touch of pink to finish off a look.
