Fashion: Golden Globes 2012

I looove award shows. More than a person should, I think. The Oscars usually involve a few girlfriends, fancy drinks, and a festive dinner party. This year, the Golden Globes fell on a busy Sunday night for no dinner party was planned. The fashion though, is still an essential part of any show of this calibre. A few of my favourite dresses were wore by my favourite Hollywood gems.

So let's start at the left with Evan Rachel Wood who wore a gorgeously detailed Gucci dress. The brilliant green, the detail of the feathers and fabric...the "just enough" plunge of the neckline....LOVE IT.

Next, Rooney Mara. I love her style and her choice on this Nina Ricci black silk faille gown with bow ribbon detailing from the Pre-Fall 2012 Collection (which let me tell you, was ON THE RUNWAY last week). Combined with her spiky ponytail and polished finish I'd say it's a winning look. Her obvious beauty helps a bit too.

After seeing My Week With Marilyn, I am convinced Michelle Williams is going to be a multi-Oscar holding champ. She can truly transform herself into any character. Besides being a critically acclaimed actress, she is also an extremely stylish young mother. This Jason Wu gown was perfect for her quirky style and I loved the cutesy bow to match. I bet she was nice and warm in those long sleeves too.

Tilda Swinton can do no wrong. And when matched up with a Haider Ackermann gown (obviously) she is unstoppable. I still have not seen We Need To Talk About Kevin but I am constantly hearing amazing things about the film, and her chilling performance she gave. Must see.
